After the hearing, Mr Baig told the Grimsby Telegraph his concerns at social media posts in relation to his client.
He said: “I have an issue with social media. It convicts the defendant in the eyes of the public before he has ever been to court and before he has had a fair hearing.
“It is wrong. It is something that needs to be stopped. It is the public becoming judge, jury and executioner before a court has heard evidence. That is wrong.”
Mr Boulter will appear at Grimsby Crown Court on January 23.
FIRSTLY YOU HAVE SEEN THE EVIDENCE, PLENTY STACKED AGAINST HIM.
WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT TO DEFEND SOMEONE LIKE THAT? WHEN IT IS CLEAR THE MAN IS GUILTY.
IT NEEDS TO BE STOPPED?
ALL EVIDENTIAL DEAR BAIG! ONLY FACTS ARE POSTED, NOT FICTION!
TRIAL BY SOCIAL MEDIA? NO JUST THE TRUTH EVEN THOUGH IT HURTS. HE HAS DONE WHAT HE’S DONE, ARE YOU DEFENDING WHAT HE’S DONE?
